What’s Included in Our School Age Program

Our classes are designed to challenge, inspire and support dancers of all interests and levels:

• Ballet
  Timeless and elegant, ballet builds core strength, discipline and grace. It’s a foundation for all styles and a favourite among aspiring performers.
• Jazz
  Jazz dancers explore dynamic movement, rhythm and showmanship while building versatility, confidence and performance skills.
• Tap
  Tap adds rhythm and precision, along with the joy of making music using your feet and movement.
  
• Hip Hop
  These styles are bold, expressive and fun. They allow students to move with freedom, tell stories through movement and develop musicality.
• Contemporary
  Blending ballet, jazz and modern dance, contemporary encourages creativity, fluid movement and emotional expression.
• Cheer
  Our cheer teams combine stunts, spirit and teamwork, building strength, coordination, confidence and lasting friendships.
• Singing
  Singing adds a creative outlet for stage lovers, developing vocal skills, confidence, expression and performance presence.

  Forget your regular dance concert, our DE Concert Experiences are a huge party celebrating everything our dancers have achieved. It’s definitely our favourite day of the year!

  We love getting out in the Mackay community to share our passion for dance and bring joy to local events.
• Optional Eisteddfod Opportunities
  For those who love the thrill of competition, we offer both solo and group eisteddfod opportunities.
• Optional Exam Opportunities
  Students can choose to take dance exams, helping them achieve personal goals and gain recognised achievements.
